Pato O’Ward, one of the most popular drivers in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, begins his ninth season in 2026. Returning for his sixth season with Arrow McLaren, he comes off a career-best season with six podiums, tying 2024, and finishing second in the standings. He won twice in 2025 at Iowa and Toronto and will continue driving the No. 5 Chevrolet.

The 26-year-old Mexican was born in Monterrey, Mexico and grew up in San Antonio, Texas. He now lives in Indianapolis to be closer to the team. Over 106 starts, O’Ward has nine wins, eight poles and 32 podiums. He is an INDY NXT by Firestone graduate, winning the championship in 2018, and serves as an F1 reserve driver for McLaren. He also won the 2017 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Prototype Challenge title, is a two-time class winner at the Rolex 24 at Daytona and a Prototype Challenge class winner at the 12 Hours of Sebring.

Off the track, O’Ward focuses on boxing and weight training. A self-proclaimed foodie, he loves chilaquiles and sushi. His Corgi Norbi travels with him to races.
