Marcus Ericsson returns for his third season with Andretti Global, driving the No. 28 Honda. The 35-year-old Swedish driver enters his eighth INDYCAR season with four career wins and 11 podiums across 114 starts. He claimed victory in the 2022 Indianapolis 500.
Ericsson competed in Formula 1 for five seasons with Sauber (2015–2018) before joining the NTT INDYCAR SERIES with Chip Ganassi Racing. He has also won championships in British Formula BMW and Japanese F3 and competed in British F3 and FIA Formula 2. After finishing 6th in the standings in 2021, 2022, and 2023, he had a challenging 2025 season, ending 20th in the points.
In 2025, Ericsson married his wife, Iris. The couple enjoys traveling and fashion. He is also a fan of professional hockey, cheering for Sweden, and his favorite foods include Mexican and Japanese cuisine.
