The 2025 livery for the No. 9 PNC Bank Chip Ganassi Racing (CGR) Honda, driven by Scott Dixon, was revealed Feb. 5 as Dixon tries this season to make more NTT INDYCAR SERIES history.
The updated look featuring more orange in the livery reflects PNC Bank’s brand, while continuing to feature the orange, blue and white colors Dixon’s fans have grown to associate with him since 2018. This is Dixon’s 25th season competing in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, the last 24 with CGR.
Dixon is on track for a historic NTT INDYCAR SERIES season in 2025. He is aiming to match A.J. Foyt’s record of seven series championships and draw closer to or even break Foyt’s record of 67 career victories. Dixon has 58 wins during his legendary career.
“I’m excited,” Dixon said. “It was a long offseason. We definitely have some big areas and some low-hanging fruit where I think we can make some big shifts and some big changes for a positive effect for the No. 9 PNC Bank Honda. I’m looking forward to that.”
Dixon also should break Mario Andretti’s series record for career starts with his 408th time taking the green flag May 25 at the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge.
“Being shoulder-to-shoulder in an INDYCAR partnership with PNC has been extraordinary because the things that make them a great bank are also what makes Scott and the team so consistent,” said Mike Hull, Dixon’s strategist at CGR. “They all do the little things brilliantly, which is why the partnership with PNC is so perfect. We are happy to return with the orange and blue once again of PNC Bank on the No. 9.”
The 2025 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season starts Sunday, March 2 with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg presented by RP Funding, live at noon ET on FOX and the INDYCAR Radio Network.
