24 hours of all-star racing and selfies
It was an all-star week of fun on social media with plenty of posts from our NTT IndyCar Series drivers, especially those that were among an all-star lineup of racers taking turns behind the wheel of sports cars competing in the Rolex 24 at Daytona. While there were plenty of posts from the pits, of winners and podium photos, we especially noticed a whole lot of selfies with a certain two-time Indy car champion.
This post from Dale Coyne Racing with Vasser-Sullivan co-owner Jimmy Vasser could have been captioned: “Winner of the ‘most photographed or selfied person at the Rolex 24’ award goes to … Alex Zanardi.”
All-star ride
While there was a lot of interesting racing on track at Daytona, it looks like 2016 NTT IndyCar Series champion Simon Pagenaud had an entertaining ride of his own, courtesy of another former Indy car driver.
NHL All-Star “Game on”
Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports’ James Hinchcliffe, INDYCAR driver and hockey fan (a prerequisite to being Canadian, of course), had plenty of fun at the NHL All-Star Game in San Jose, California, thanks to Honda. A few of his all-star shenanigans were documented in his Instagram story highlights (find it at https://www.instagram.com/stories/highlights/17895079162295432/), but the winning photo (and caption) was of Hinch with two other Canadian beauties.
Three Indy 500 all-star drivers (and an appropriately tall Borg-Warner Trophy)
There were enough yellow shirts at Indy 500 night at the Indiana Pacers NBA game Monday night in Indianapolis to make past Indy 500 pole sitters Ed Carpenter, James Hinchcliffe and Will Power feel right at home, but they quickly realized it really was in support of their friend and 2018 Indy 500 pace car driver Victor Oladipo, the Pacers star player recently injured.
After defending Indy 500 winner Power unveiled the 2019 Indy 500 ticket design to the crowd and the three did some interviews, you had to know there would be mischief … and more cowbell.

Still two weeks away from Valentine’s Day, but these all-star couples had our hearts all a-twitter this week.
Scott and Emma Dixon are at it again as they up the adorable loving couple factor while deservedly spending quality time together and (over-)celebrating their anniversary before the NTT IndyCar Series season ramps up for the Chip Ganassi Racing driver and reigning champion.
Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Graham Rahal tweeted out a modern-day love letter in support of his wife, Courtney Force, the winningest female Funny Car driver in NHRA history, following the announcement that she was retiring from drag racing competition. Wishing them both the best for this new chapter in their life together.
