There’s a day for everything. According to the International Day Calendar kept by the United Nations, Feb. 13 is World Radio Day, March 8 is International Woman’s Day and today is World Poetry Day. Among other things, March 20 is set aside as International Day of Happiness. We applaud Alexander Rossi’s observance, using a reunion of Brazilian buds Tony Kanaan and Helio Castroneves as his example:
You say it’s your birthday
When Marco Andretti wishes friends and family well on their birthdays, he finds throwback images to help. His mother, Sandra Andretti, and pal, Coco, shared the same birthday on March 17 and these smile-worthy images appeared on the Andretti Autosport driver’s Twitter feed.
Life and INDYCAR racing = not a popularity contest
Rossi, who got blowback following his controversial move at the end of the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, chatted with “The Bachelor” star Arie Luyendyk Jr. (no stranger to public disapproval himself) for the inaugural episode of Rossi’s new podcast with James Hinchcliffe.
