INDYCAR announced last week that March 27 will be a Promoter Day for the Verizon IndyCar Series as teams and drivers acquaint themselves with the respective aero kits and 2.2-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 engines on the 1.8-mile, 11-turn street circuit.

Will Power of Team Penske won the 2014 opener at St. Petersburg on his way to his first series title. Ryan Hunter-Reay was the race runner-up and Helio Castroneves finished third in the 110-lap race.
